This beautiful Legion of Honor wedding was featured on Magnolia Rouge!
On March 20, 2020, I had an initial chat with Lindsey to discuss her wedding stationery needs for her dream wedding set for October 2020 in France. Days later, nationwide COVID lockdowns began and all travel and events were effectively halted. With an optimistic outlook, we moved forward and opted to design digital Save The Dates sent via Paperless Post.
A few months later, Lindsey and Michael made the difficult decision to postpone their French wedding. We sent out digital postponement announcements to let inform their family and friends. As days, weeks, and them months passed, the wedding in France was decidedly not going to happen in October of 2020. They elegantly pivoted and decided to get married in a beautiful San Francisco micro-wedding instead!
On short notice, we opted again to do digital invitations for their guest list of twelve. However, I was also able to print a keepsake invitation suite for Lindsey & Michael to cherish – both physically and in the form of photographs. Janine Licare did a wonderful job with the flat lay styling of their wedding invitation suite!
Their invitation card was digitally printed on luxuriously thick 240# eggshell card stock. We chose dusty blue and navy blue ink to match their wedding color scheme, and Lindsey purchased a beautiful and timeless monogram design from Shuler Studio. The navy envelope liners completed the look. I think it was truly special to be able to print this keepsake invitation for them to commemorate their special day.
In true San Francisco fashion, the fog rolled in during their Legion of Honor wedding ceremony. I think the fog gave the photos a really dreamy and ethereal look. Their reception followed with dinner at Cavallo Point in Sausalito.
